The show will include a dance dedicated to their late friend.

MARQUETTE -- Local dance teams from all across Marquette County will be performing on November 1 at Marquette Senior High School.  Their "Not Just a Halftime Show" will include material that the students themselves choreographed.

"In addition to the dances we've done in the football season, we're doing a dance that is dedicated to Jake Prevost who passed away this summer.  It was choreographed by a couple of his friends.  So, that'll be a touching moment for some of the members of the audience," Kayla Kurzawa, dance team member, said.

The hour-long show will start at 7 p.m. Tickets are $3 for students and $5 for adults. Participating in the show are dancers from Marquette, Ishpeming, and Negaunee High Schools, the NMU dance team, and many local dance studios.
