SKANDIA -- Officials have located the body of a man whose car was found rolled over in Skandia Saturday afternoon.

Bryan Lee Vartti, 50, of Skandia was found and pronounced dead at the scene on Sunday, after the Marquette County Sheriff's Search and Rescue team found him in a wooded area close to the crash.

Police responded to the accident south of Dalton Road around 5 p.m. on Saturday. The vehicle, a GMC Jimmy, was located but Vartti's body could not be found at that time.

Police say Vartti had not been in contact with family and friends in two days. The cause of the crash and his death remain under investigation.
