EBEN -- They say, "It takes a village to raise a child," but how about a barn?

Friday the Miller family of Eben found out.

Dozens of friends, neighbors and church group volunteers arrived at the Miller's home Friday morning to help raise a barn that caught fire last September.

The Miller's have been busy repairing the damage to their home from the fire, and Friday it was all about rebuilding the barn.

The family laid down the concrete last week and Friday's friends and neighbors put up walls and set the trusses for the roof.

The Miller's say they couldn't be more grateful for the help.

"Words can't describe it,  I mean it's an emotional situation, you know, for the people to pitch in when somebody really needs a hand, with weather looming in the background, you know, snow any day, there's been snow all around us, we haven't had it yet, but we're just blessed with this kind of turnout," said owner Todd Miller.

Work continued on the barn with plans to complete the basic structure by Saturday evening.
