Person hit by car in Marquette, police seek information

MARQUETTE -- The Marquette City Police Department is looking for witnesses to an incident that happened earlier this week.

Around 6:40 on Monday morning a person was hit by a car on West Ridge and Third Street.

It involved a white Aramark truck and a person crossing Ridge Street in the crosswalk. Anyone who may have witnessed this incident or may have information about it is asked to contact the Marquette City Police at (906) 228-0400.
