MASONVILLE TOWNSHIP -- Gary Hall, 56, was shot in the shoulder while cleaning his pole barn on Saturday, according to the Michigan State Police.

Hall was cleaning his pole barn when his .22 caliber pistol fell from his holster, landed on the cement floor, and discharged, hitting him in the shoulder.

Rampart Paramedics and Masonville EMS responded to the scene, but Hall sought his own medical treatment at Marquette General Hospital.  He was treated for minor injuries and released.
