MARQUETTE -- Members of the Tasty Reads Book Club had the chance to have lunch with a "Crabby Cook" Monday.
The group met in the Community Room at the Peter White Public Library to sample dishes made from Jessica Harper's, The Crabby Cook Book.
Harper, who is also an actress and recording artist, joined the group from Los Angeles via Skype.
Harper's book comes from having to provide meals for her family, all of which she says are very picky.
"These recipes come from her background of trying to make a meal that everyone would like, so it's kind of funny. As her family has aged, they've gotten a little more accepting of food, and she has been able to add more ingredients," said book club member, Shelley Janofski.
The luncheon guests enjoyed dishes such as "Creamy Dreamy Vegetable Soup," "Killer Pumpkin Muffins," and "George Clooney Chicken Salad."
