CHOCOLAY TOWNSHIP -- The suspect in the armed robbery of the Northern Michigan Bank and Trust is in custody in Wyoming. According to authorities, the unnamed man is being held in Gillette, Wyoming in Campbell County.
The 29-year-old man has not been named, but Chocolay Township police say he's from Upper Michigan.
The suspect seen in the bank's surveillance tape used a handgun in the robbery last Wednesday.
Nothing is being released on the capture of this person. There's also no word on when the suspect would face extradition to the U.P.
Police say the suspect's wife has been cooperating with the FBI.
