MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP -- Marquette Township residents will get a chance to comment on their community's master plan Wednesday.
The Marquette Township Planning Commission will hold two open houses Wednesday at the Township Hall. Residents will be able to view and provide comments, ideas, or concerns on maps regarding future projects. They'll also be able to speak with members of the planning commission, township staff, and planning consultants from U.P. Engineers and Architects.
Commission members say this a great way to get input from residents and businesses on their vision for the township.
"We are all stewards of the future of the township, and we want to create the best living environment to live, work and play that we can, and we can only do that with input from people who reside in the township," said Township Planner, Jason McCarthy.
The open houses will be held Wednesday from 3 to 5 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. with presentations at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.
