MACKINAC COUNTY -- A four vehicle crash in Mackinac County on Tuesday resulted in two people being hospitalized.

George Poulos, an 84-year-old man from Flint, failed to stop for halted construction traffic on US-2.  He struck the rear of 51-year-old Caryl Hafner of Wausau, Wisconsin.  This collision forced a chain reaction, according to the Michigan State Police.

Four cars in total were involved in the crash, including one crossing the centerline.

Caryl Hafner and her passenger, 81-year-old Patricia Hafner, were transported to Helen Newberry Joy Hospital for injuries.

Patricia Hafner was then transferred to Marquette General Hospital for a broken arm.

No one else was seriously hurt in the accident.
