ALGER COUNTY -- The Michigan State Police are reporting a high volume of motorists experiencing flat tires on H-58 between Melstrand and Grand Marais in Alger County.

The flat tire reports are linked to a large amount of nails on the road, according to officials.

Troopers from the Munising Detachment of the Michigan State Police are investigating the property damage reports, and the Alger County Road Commission has cleaned the road of any debris.

If you have any information regarding this issue with nails on H-58, please contact the Michigan State Police at (906) 475-9922.
