Marquette woman treated for stab wound

MARQUETTE -- A 32-year-old Marquette woman was treated for a stab wound to the stomach early Friday morning.

The Marquette City Police Department responded to a call around 2:30 a.m. on Friday in the Whetstone Village.  The Marquette woman was allegedly stabbed by her boyfriend during an argument between the couple.

The man fled before the police arrived.  The Marquette City Police Department are still looking for him.

The 32-year-old woman was treated and released from Marquette General Hospital.

The Marquette City Police Department is still investigating this incident.
