ISHPEMING -- A water boil advisory was issued for an area of Ishpeming on Monday afternoon.
The advisory is for residents on Cliff Street and Lakeshore Drive between Euclid St. and US-41.
The city of Ishpeming Department of Public Works is repairing a water main leak on Cliff St. They plan to complete repairs and restore service before midnight on Monday.
The advisory will remain in effect for a minimum of 48 hours after water service is restored unless extended by separate notice.
The water may appear discolored shortly after service is restored.
