NEWBERRY -- The Michigan State Police have seized 14 potted marijuana plants when they exercised a search warrant of a Newberry home on Wednesday.

The marijuana plants, seized on West Avenue C, were in various stages of maturity.

Authorities are still investigating the incident. The information has been given to the Luce County Prosecutor for review.

The Michigan State Police were assisted by the Luce County Sheriff's Department.
