There's a new business in downtown Marquette, and it could help you start your business
MARQUETTE -- It's called the Big Chair Club L.L.C. Launched by the owners of the already established e-Loft and Black Ink Assets in Marquette, the Big Chair Club is a new venture capitalist organization.
Anonymous local investors put their money into U.P. ideas and businessess.
"Our angel investors are all U.P.-based individuals at this point," says President David Saint-Onge. "We expect to be able to maintain that relationship and to focus our efforts on new and growing business ideas here in the U.P."
Developers of the new venture capitalist organization say the company gets its name from the idea: if you own a small business, you aspire to sit in a big chair.
