CHOCOLAY TOWNSHIP -- Three people are hospitalized following a two vehicle accident in Chocolay Township.  It happened at the intersection of US-41 and M-28 just before 4:30 Friday afternoon.

Police say a southbound Chevy Impala turned east onto M-28 into the path of a northbound pickup truck.  The pickup had the right-of-way.

Three people were injured:  one in the Impala and two in the pickup truck.

No names have been released yet.  The crash is still under investigation.

M-28 traffic was diverted while crews cleaned up the scene.  Police say several off duty Marquette General Hospital employees assisted at the scene.
