Around 300 antique tractors and equipment from as early as 1918 are on display at the U.P. State Fairgrounds.
ESCANABA -- It's the 36th annual U.P. Steam and Gas Show, and Friday was preview day.
The equipment is no longer used on the farm.
Instead, they're collectors items that can take anywhere from a year to ten years to be restored.
Much of this year's outdoor exhibit will feature John Deere tractors.
"I'm excited, we're always excited, anytime you do something like this, you get to see people you haven't seen for a year, it's kind of like a homecoming. everybody gets together and we just kind of do our thing that we're used to doing for the last 36 years," says Skip Dufour of the U.P. Steam and Gas Association.
The show will kick off Saturday at nine a-m.
It'll run through Monday, September 5th.
