HOUGHTON COUNTY -- The search continued Tuesday for a Harbor Springs woman who went missing in Houghton Saturday night.
Valerie Sue Palmer, 55, was last seen by Wells Fargo Bank near Michigan Tech's campus wearing aqua Capri pants, a white and yellow tank top and a visor.
Officials found a boat with Palmer's purse and other belongings near Torch Bay on Sunday. The boat did not belong to her.
Superior Search and Rescue Teams along with the U.S. Coast Guard are searching along the Portage waterway and shoreline in Houghton.
Two aircrafts have also been dedicated to the search.
Police are asking anyone with information on Palmer's whereabouts to contact the Houghton City Police or the Houghton County Sheriff's Department.
