MARQUETTE -- It's a musical that encourages someone of any age to use their imagination, and the Marquette Arts and Culture Center's Youth Theater did just that with their last production of the season, "Willy Wonka Junior."
The show was sold out for each performance.
It promised plenty of audience participation, one of the reasons the cast enjoyed putting on the show.
"People like just the energy and some of the familiar songs they knew that were fun to sing," said lead in the play, Jill Vermeulen, who played Willy.
Willy Wonka Junior was performed at the Lake Superior Boat House Theater in Marquette. Kids of all ages made up the cast.
