IRON MOUNTAIN -- A fire that broke out in Iron Mountain Monday morning was called in as an explosion. The call was was received at approximately 6 a.m. central time.
Firefighters were called to the alley behind the 800 block of East D Street. Two garage-type structures were involved, one of them being a total loss.
There were no injuries reported.
Some power lines were affected, and people in that neighborhood may experience power outages throughout the day while repairs are being made.
The fire is under investigation.
