MUNISING -- The case of an Alger County man facing several charges on the death of a woman earlier this year will be going to trial.

At his arraignment in Alger County Circuit Court on Monday, Thomas Murdock entered a not guilty plea to the charges leveled against him.  He is charged with involuntary manslaughter, third offense OWI and possession of marijuana.

In June, Murdock allegedly ran over 44-year-old Lisa Hardwick with his vehicle.

A pretrial conference has been set for September 7.

If convicted, Murdock could face up to 15 years in prison.
