It was a free trip back in time for those attending this year's antique car show at the Thunder Bay Inn in Big Bay
BIG BAY -- More than 30 vehicles were part of this year's show. All makes and models were represented.
Organizers say participation was a bit lower than in year's past. But they don't want the show to get too big, in fact, they like that it's on a smaller scale.
The show is designed primarily to promote interest in Big Bay and get people to come visit the town.
"These men have put untold numbers of hours and dollars and effort into building these cars and making them what they are, and they all enjoy being able to display that and let other people see the fruits of their labors," says Wayne Peacock, owner of the Thunder Bay Inn.
The show was sponsored by the Big Bay Visitor's Bureau. It's part of the Summer on the Bay program that ran the whole weekend.
