Fire damages a home in Marquette Township

MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP -- Damage estimates are still being determined after an early Wednesday morning house fire on County Road 550 in Marquette Township.

The call came in at about 7:40 a.m. of a structure fire at house number 333 County Road 550.
    
It took firefighters only a half hour to contain the blaze.
    
No one was home at the time.  Homeowner, Andy Kulikowski, arrived to his burned house just minutes after it was contained.
    
The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
    
The extent of the damage to the structure also remains to be determined.
