MARQUETTE COUNTY -- UPDATE 10 p.m.
The DNR estimates the wildfire is 60 percent contained. One unit will remain on the scene overnight to monitor the fire. The rest of the firefighters will return Saturday morning.
The DNR suspects lightning may have started the fire, but they say it's still too early to tell.

UPDATE 7:45 p.m
The DNR estimates the fire has burned about 80 to 100 acres. There are no injuries and no structures have been damaged.
The fire is in a remote area near Silver Lake. No word yet on how it started, but it's being fueled by dry, windy conditions.
Firefighters remain on the scene trying to contain the wildfire.

Firefighters are battling a blaze at this hour, west of the Dead River Basin in northwest Marquette County. It was reported at about 4 p.m. Friday afternoon.
So far, officials say it has burned about 50 to 60 acres, and the fire has jumped a couple of roads.
The area is difficult to access, but we have a reporter on the way.
