OSCEOLA TOWNSHIP -- A Wednesday morning crash injured three people in Houghton County on Oneco Road around 10 a.m.

A dump truck driven by Ned Erickson, 34, jackknifed into the other lane, causing a car driven by 17-year-old Brandon Stoyanoff to swerve.  Stoyanoff's vehicle left the roadway, spun out of control and came to rest against a tree, according to the Houghton County Sheriff's Department.

Stoyanoff and another 18-year-old man received minor injuries, and a 16-year-old girl from Calumet was launched from the vehicle.  The girl was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and sustained non-life threatening injuries.

Both men were treated and released from Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital.  The last update on the 16-year-old girl said that she was admitted for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
