KINGSFORD -- A Kingsford man is jailed pending charges for allegedly stealing items from vehicles. The 23-year-old suspect was taken into custody on Tuesday according to Kingsford Public Safety.
The vehicle larcenies happened at a local bar and the parking lot at Cowboy Lake.
Officers were able to recover about $1,300 worth of electronics and a purse which the suspect threw into the Menominee River.
A felony warrant is being sought, due to one of the larcenies being more than $2,000 in cash.
The suspect's name will not be released until after his arraignment.
