Latest news, weather, high school sports for Michigan’s Upper Peninsula

MARQUETTE -- The International Food Fest over the Fourth of July weekend was a big success.

Officials for the Marquette Exchange Club, which runs the Food Fest, say it grossed more than $160,000.

That's $30,000 more than last year.

The net proceeds from the event haven't been determined yet, but the money will be split among the various non-profit organizations that the exchange club supports throughout the year.
