A minivan collided with a passenger car on US-2 in Iron Mountain Friday afternoon

IRON MOUNTAIN -- Police say a minivan was stopped at a stop sign on East Fleshiem Street.  The 16-year-old driver from Kingsford then pulled out onto US-2 and struck a southbound car.

There were no injuries.

The car was not drivable and had to be towed from the scene.

The 16-year-old driver was cited for failing to yield at an intersection.
