MARQUETTE -- Tuesday, a cyclist on a mission against cancer made a stop in Marquette along his way across the country.
Flynn Donaho left his home in Huntington Beach, California last January in an attempt to ride around the perimeter of United States.
Donaho decided to bike the 11,000 mile trip after several members of his family were stricken with cancer. He has a website where those he has met can donate to his cause or to help him on his journey.
For Donaho, it's more about raising money than the journey itself.
"A lot of people think it's amazing. I just hope they they would donate, that all I'm thinking is donate, you know, maybe we can find a cure, the more money we can get towards research, the closer we are to that cure," said Donaho.
