Missing woman found

MENOMINEE TOWNSHIP -- The Menominee County Sheriff's Department have located a woman who went missing around 7:30 p.m. on Monday from an adult care home.

Kay Krie, 58, was found in tall grass on private property on Elmwood Road at 6:50 a.m. on Tuesday.  She required care for exposure and insect bites.

Krie walked away from the adult care facility near Elmwood Road in Menominee Township wearing pink pajamas. 

Search parties, a K9 unit from Menominee County and available aircraft were utilized in the search for Krie.

Sheriff Kenny Marks thanks all volunteers and rescuers for the help in locating Krie.
