MARQUETTE -- It happened around 1:15 p.m. on M-553, just south of M-554.

A 24-year-old Marquette man, driving a 2004 silver Honda, pulled north onto M-553 out of a parking area.  He crossed the centerline into the southbound lane, colliding with a 2006 Toyota van, which was being driven southbound by a 66-year-old Gwinn man.

The van ran off the road, colliding with a 43-year-old bicyclist from Marquette.

A 25-year-old female passenger in the car and the driver of the van were transported to MGH for non-life threatening injuries.

The bicyclist sought his own treatment for minor injuries.

The driver of the Honda was cited for careless driving.
