Both prosecution and defense have rested their cases in the negligent homicide trial of Gerrad Alan Godley.
The Flint man is accused of negligent homicide, related to a crash which killed a married couple riding their motorcycle. The victims were David and Karen Awbrey.
During testimony Thursday, the subject of Godley's medication was brought up as a factor.
Dr. Melinda Wheatley of Flint prescribed Godley, Lisinopril, for high blood pressure. Dr. Wheatley told prosecutor Steve Parks it's possible Godley passed out at the wheel.
The case has gone to jury deliberation, and a verdict is expected sometime Friday.
