IRON MOUNTAIN -- A single vehicle crash Sunday morning in Iron Mountain on Lehman Avenue resulted in the injury of two people, leaving one person still in critical condition.

The driver has been identified as 19-year-old Brandon Trulock of Iron Mountain.  The passenger of the vehicle was 20-year-old Justin Heupel of Quinnesec.

Both the Heupel and Trulock had to be extricated from the vehicle and transported to Dickinson County Memorial Hospital for treatment.  Trulock was treated for non-life threatening injuries and released.  Heupel was transferred to St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay and is still listed in critical condition.

Heupel's family created a website to track his condition.

The Iron Mountain City Police were assisted at the scene by the Kingsford Public Safety, Breitung Township, Iron Mountain Fire Departments, along with the Michigan State Police and Bacon Ambulance.

Speed appears to be a factor in the crash.
