NEGAUNEE TOWNSHIP -- UPDATE 7:50 p.m.

The home is owned by Pete O'Dovero.

There were no injuries, and it's not believed anyone was in the home at the time of the incident.  The home was destroyed.

Fire crews from Negaunee Township, the City of Negaunee, Marquette Township and Marquette County Rescue 131 were on the scene.

There was concern the blaze threatened a nearby barn and shed, but the fire appears to have been contained to the home.

Firefighters are still investigating the cause.
