MARQUETTE -- Downtown Marquette may be looking a little busier than usual this weekend because it's Northern Michigan University's All Alumni Reunion.
Over 200 families and 500 individuals have already signed up to take part in the festivities.
It all starts Thursday with tours of downtown Marquette, a golf outing and a pig roast.
Organizers say they wanted to bring the reunion tradition back, after over a decade, to do something for the community.
"We don't get to do a whole lot of things for the Marquette community and surrounding area, so this is a way for us to kind of connect our local alumni with alumni from around the country so we can bring them back and do something here on campus," said Brad Hamel of NMU.
The venue for the free Jeff Daniels' concert, which is scheduled for this Friday night, has been moved indoors to the Lakeview Area. The doors open at 5:45 p.m.
