Weather closes beaches

MARQUETTE -- The City of Marquette announced that the public beaches, McCarty’s Cove and South Beach, will be closed Sunday, June 19, 2011 at 12 p.m. due to inclement and cold weather.

Beaches are scheduled to reopen 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, June 20, 2011.
