A storyline display is now hanging in Houghton before it will be moved to the Rozsa Center

HOUGHTON -- With the premiere of the Rockland Opera just about a month away, organizers are spreading community excitement by displaying part of a related art project.

A smaller segment of storyline panels is now hanging in downtown Houghton.

Students from 21 schools across the U.P. and a number of other community members contributed a picture and the story of an ancestor.

Many of the panels will be displayed in their local community before they are moved to the Rozsa Center next month.
