HARVEY -- Update 3:18 p.m. EST

The Chocolay Township Police Department has identified the body found in Harvey on Tuesday as 40-year-old Jamison Michael Weston of Marquette.

The cause of his death is still under investigation.

An investigation is underway in Marquette County after a body was found in the woods.

According to the Chocolay Township Police, a person walking their dog behind Wahlstrom's Restaurant in Harvey came upon the deceased person around 2:20 p.m. Tuesday.

Authorities say it appears the person had been living out of a shelter near the area where he was found. 

Police believe they have the subject identified but are withholding the information pending notification of next of kin. 

Foul play is not suspected, and an autopsy is scheduled to determine the cause of death.
