MARQUETTE -- The recent tornados and floods have devastated communities across the Midwest and Tuesday, a Marquette business is going to help those affected by the damage.
Culver's restaurant will participate in an annual event called "A Day of Giving".
All day Tuesday, 10 percent of all their proceeds will go to the American Red Cross to provide such things as food, shelter and emotional support to victims of the disasters. They're calling on local residents to help them raise as much money as possible.
"It means a lot to us that we're able to do this every year, especially this year because of tornado and flood relief because it hit so close to home. It also feels good to be able to do your job but give a little extra," said Culver's manager, Heather Mattson.
Members of the Red Cross will be on hand to serve food and take donations.
