IRON RIVER TOWNSHIP -- Holly Meyers, a 34 year old from Florence, Wisconsin, received minor injuries on Sunday when she collided with a deer while riding her motorcycle.
Michigan State Police responded to the accident in Iron River Township on Sunday around 2 p.m. Meyers was riding her 1998 Harley Davidson when a deer entered her path.
Meyers was taken to Northstar Health System in Iron River. She received multiple injuries, but none of them were life threatening.
Meyers was wearing her helmet and protective clothing that were instrumental in preventing more severe injuries, according to Michigan State Police.
