DICKINSON COUNTY -- Students are often recognized for their achievements and now one lucky teacher has been as well.

Last week Cathy Spice won Edwards Automotive's Teacher of the Year contest driving away with a brand new Chevy Cruze.
    
Spice is a teacher at the Holy Spirit Central School in Norway.
    
Edwards Automotive used the contest to promote the Chevy Cruze and honor a local teacher.
    
Spice will have a 3 year lease on the vehicle.
