IRON MOUNTAIN -- Michael Jo-Rivers Cootware, 22, was arrested Monday after allegedly flashing a girl during an event in Iron Mountain's City Park.

Cootware allegedly exposed himself to a young girl during an end of the year school picnic for Central Elementary School students around 9:30 a.m.

Iron Mountain police found Cootware hiding in the woods and arrested him after a short foot chase.  He is being charged with one felony count of assaulting, resisting or obstructing a police officer, and two misdemeanor counts of indecent exposure.  Cootware is a third time habitual offender.

There was no physical contact during the incident.
