L'ANSE -- A Baraga man accused of violently assaulting another man is heading to circuit court.

Thirty-two-year-old Douglas Aaron Garver waived his preliminary exam Tuesday morning after the series of charges against him, including attempted murder, were read in district court.

Garver and two other suspects allegedly broke into a Baraga apartment last month, seriously injured one of the residents, and damaged property.  Police are still looking for one accomplice, Daniel Nieskes.

Garver is being held on $20,000 bond.  If convicted, he's facing up to life in prison.
