Dr. Bryan Dixon of Marquette will serve on the Governor's Council on Physical Fitness, Health, and Sports
LANSING -- A U.P. resident is now a part of the Governor's Council on Physical Fitness, Health, and Sports.
Governor Rick Snyder announced Friday that Dr. Bryan Dixon of Marquette is one of seven board members working to increase the physical activity and improve the health of Michigan residents.
Dr. Dixon of Marquette is the medical director of the USOEC, the Marquette Sports Medicine Institute, and Advantedge Athletic Training. He's also the sports medicine specialist for Marquette General's Sports Medicine program.
The appointments will serve two-year terms on the Council.
