Saturday was all about bikes and bike safety for many folks in Marquette at the 2011 Bike Rodeo held at the Marquette Commons
MARQUETTE -- Kids and their parents could get their helmets fitted at the 2011 Bike Rodeo.
Bike registration was also available for those who want protection when their bikes get lost or stolen. For bikes that needed maintenance, you could get them fixed.
Some kids also participated in the obstacle course, complete with a railroad crossing, while others learned about bike safety.
There was also plenty of ice cream for anyone wanting a cool treat on the hot day, as well as a raffle to give away a bike to families that participated in the family bike ride.
