The city of Marquette is now even more beautiful than it was before

MARQUETTE -- It was 'Petunia Pandemonium' near the roundabout on Front Street in Marquette Saturday.

Volunteers of all ages participated to plant the colorful flowers.  Several groups lined the curbsides to pitch in a hand.

They do this every year to beautify the entrance to the city.

Complementary ice cream cones and a pizza picnic lunch were available for the volunteers following the planting.

This was the 23rd year for Petunia Pandemonium.
