MARQUETTE -- Marquette's annual Fourth of July fireworks show is a fan favorite, but it's also got a pretty hefty price tag:  about $25,000.

The whole event is estimated to cost about $50,000 when you factor in the price of the additional activities at Lower Harbor.

The money comes entirely from private donations, so the Marquette Rotary Club is, once again, fund-raising with red, white and blue wristbands.  They say the tough economy has made fund-raising slow, but they have their hopes set high for a great show this year.

"The pyro techs are saying to us that they are going to be even more spectacular," says Rotary organizer Jorma Lankinen.  "So if you really liked them last year, you're going to like them this year as well."
