Baraga Area Schools and Dollar Bay/Tamarack Area Schools lose power

BARAGA/DOLLAR BAY -- Strong winds caused a number of power outages across the Upper Peninsula Wednesday morning, causing some schools to close.

Dollar Bay/Tamarack Area schools closed early Wednesday and Baraga Area Schools is closing at 10:45 a.m., also due to loss of power from violent winds.

We'll continue to have updates about windy weather and the closings its caused on air and online throughout the day.
