MARQUETTE -- The Marquette Field Office of the Michigan Department of Natural Resources is planning to host the Michigan Wolf Forum Friday, June 3.
The event will welcome diverse stakeholders with various points of view on wolf management in Michigan, including animal rights groups, livestock groups and hunting organizations.
The event will provide the DNR with important feedback on their state wolf management plan for when wolves are removed from the federal endangered species list.
"It's basically just a preview of that plan to make sure everyone's happy with it and on board with it before it goes into implementation," said DNR Representative, Debbie Munson-Badini.
The event will be held Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Ramada Inn in Marquette and is open to the public.
