She hit her head on the Municipal Dock before falling into the water

ESCANABA -- A woman nearly drowned in Escanaba Saturday night.

The 47-year-old woman fell out of a boat, hitting her head on the Municipal Dock in Ludington Park, suffering a possible head injury before plunging into the water.

Once officers arrived on the scene, they pulled the unconscious woman out of the water.

She was transported by ambulance to O.S.F. Saint Francis for possible hypothermia and head injuries.
