HANCOCK -- The Simple Kindness for Youth organization is inviting women in the Keweenaw to get dressed up and have some fun while raising money for kids in need.
Whether you prefer fancy beading or old fashion glamour, next weekend's Spring Gala is a great excuse to have some fun.
The ladies-only event will be held at the Michigan Tech Ballroom on June 4. In addition to dancing and good food, there are a number of donated items that will be raffled off.
Tickets cost $35 and are available at a number of local businesses including Jeannie's in Hancock.
